Mr. Syahrul Nizam graduated with a Bachelor of Law (LLB) (Honours) degree from International Islamic University Malaysia. He read in the chambers of Messrs Kadir, Andri & Partners under Mr. Julian Mahmud Hashim. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2006. Thereafter, he continued his employment with Messrs Abdullah Chan and Messrs Susanna Lim & Partners prior to joining Messrs Tam, Nizam & Partners as a Partner. In 2019, he joined Messrs Rahman Rohaida as a Partner.

His work covers mainly corporate including, but not limited to, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, joint ventures and capital market transactions and conveyancing matters. Apart from these expertise, Mr. Syahrul Nizam is also a certified Commissioner for Oaths.

1. Initial public offering and listing (IPO) of IHH Healthcare Berhad on Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) and Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX).
2. Advising Bendahara 1 Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Equity Nasional Berhad, in respect of acquisition and take- over of Konsortium Logistik Berhad (a listed company under Main Market of Bursa Malaysia).
3. IPO of UEM Land Holdings Berhad on Main Market of Bursa Malaysia and providing all relevant legal advice in respect of its obligation on corporate governance upon listing on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.
4. Advising listed companies including UEM Land Holdings Berhad, SMR Technologies Berhad, AsiaEP Resources Berhad, Leweko Resources Berhad, Ideal Jacobs (Malaysia) Corporation Berhad on issuing new securities including, but not limited to, rights issues, bonus issues, warrants and share scheme to employees and advising the said companies in relation to their obligations under the listing requirements including, but not limited to, their continuing disclosure requirement and obligations pursuant to the Companies Act, Capital Market and Services Act and any other obligation under Malaysian Laws.
5. Corporate restructurings and delisting of UEM Group Berhad from the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.
6. Providing general legal advice to Government linked companies including, but not limited to, Khazanah Nasional Berhad and PETRONAS in respect of compliance with the relevant laws in Malaysia.

Conveyancing, Banking & Finance

1. Drafting and finalising transaction agreements (including but not limited to the Sale and Purchase Agreement, Deed of Mutual Covenant, financing documentation and other related documents) in respect of development projects under Schedule H of the Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Act, 1966 and development of commercial units.
2. Investment by Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd as of the CIP 500 Fund, DEQ800 and funding by Cradle Seed Ventures.
3. Housing loans / facilities, both conventional and Islamic products.
